The NICI Virtual Library Co-op provides a superb array of academic resources across the K-12 and postsecondary curriculum.
There is more to find, acquire and read in this library than in the Library of Congress, through unlimited access to full-text
online materials and international inter-library loan of print resources. The Virtual Library is a nonprofit “digital equity” initiative
dedicated to dramatically lowering the cost of superb academic resources by pooling co-op members’ buying power and
by working only with academic content providers that agree to significantly lower their cost per person as co-op membership
grows. The Virtual Library offers access to Encyclopedia Britannica, Oxford English Dictionary, McGraw Hill’s Encyclopedia of
Science and Technology, OCLC’s First Search Selection, H. W. Wilson Select’s database of over a half-million journal and magazine
